Vintage Japanese SHISEIDO Compact “Mypet” miniature pressed powder compact in the 305 Fine Pink shade.
Dating to approximately the late 1960s–early 1970s, the Mypet was an unusually small Shiseido compact designed for portability. Period information indicates these tiny compacts were even marketed as being small enough to tuck into an obi when wearing traditional Japanese clothing.
This example features an ornate embossed floral/foliate gold-tone case with interior mirror.
