PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASINGSony Walkman WM-1 FOR PARTS OR REPAIR ONLY — NOT A WORKING UNIT.The Walkman is in very nice cosmetic condition for its age and includes everything that originally came with it when purchased new, including the original box, paperwork, warranty, manual, headphones with the original ear cushions, plus an additional original red ear cushions still sealed in its plastic.The original box is included and is in fair condition with some age-related wear.The previous owner left batteries installed, and there appears to have been battery leakage. I tested it with new batteries, but it did not power on/work.I would love to see this go to someone who can restore it, use it for parts, or add it to their collection. Again, this is being sold strictly FOR PARTS OR REPAIR and is NOT a working unit.
