Vintage Spode Blue Italian graduated measuring pitcher/jug made in England and decorated with Spode’s classic blue-and-white Italian landscape pattern.
This functional kitchen jug has interior measurement markings for pints, fluid ounces and liters, graduated up to 1 pint, 20 fluid ounces or 500 ml. Its approximate total capacity is 0.7 liter/1.2 imperial pints.
The underside is marked “Spode, Made in England, Italian, Spode Design c.1816” and indicates that the jug is dishwasher and microwave safe. The “c.1816” mark refers to the year the Blue Italian pattern was introduced—not the manufacture date of this particular piece. Based on the backstamp, it is believed to date from approximately 2000–2006.

Preowned vintage condition with light signs of previous use, including minor wear around the base and a faint interior spot. No obvious chips, cracks or crazing were observed, but please enlarge and inspect all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.
