Vintage Sterling Silver Carved Pink Coral Flower Brooch – Gold Vermeil Floral Pin
Beautiful vintage sterling silver brooch featuring a large, intricately carved pale pink/peach coral flower. The dimensional floral centerpiece resembles a blooming rose or peony, with delicately layered petals and finely detailed carving that gives the flower a realistic, three-dimensional appearance.
The coral flower is surrounded by an elaborate gold-tone sterling silver setting featuring sweeping textured leaves, graceful openwork scrolls, curling ribbons, and delicate stems accented with tiny rounded tips. The combination of soft peachy-pink coral and rich gold tones creates an elegant, romantic design with wonderful vintage charm.
The brooch is marked S.S. on the reverse and appears to feature a gold-washed or gold-plated finish over sterling silver. It has a traditional pin clasp on the back. Acid tests as sterling silver.
