Shop mechanics would cut an opening in the bag and pull out what they need for the job and cut and install it. When these were uncased in a clear coating it was referred to as \'crystal\' housing. These are getting pretty rare, and I am not sure how many feet is left here, but as you can see, there is a lot left(!). Used extensively with bar con conversions, but can be used for other shifter and brake applications as well.
