Striking vintage TAXCO Mexico ring featuring an oval golden cat\'s-eye cabochon with an exceptionally sharp and well-defined eye.
The stone has a warm honey-gold to bronze body color with a bright band of chatoyancy extending across the cabochon. The eye moves noticeably as the ring or light source is moved and becomes especially dramatic in direct sunlight. Please see the outdoor photographs, which show this optical effect particularly well.
The ring is signed TAXCO on the underside, identifying it as Mexican jewelry made in Taxco, an important center of Mexican silver and jewelry making.

The ring is in good vintage pre-owned condition with wear consistent with age and previous use. The stone presents beautifully and the cat\'s-eye effect is unusually strong.
