This is a beautiful, vintage, 1980s Thai Buddhist pocket statue or amulet. This piece depicts the "Phra Nak Prok" pose, featuring a serene meditating Buddha sheltered by the protective canopy of a Naga serpent dragon. It features authentic raised Thai script running along the outer base rim.
Crafted from cast metal (likely bronze or heavy brass) with a beautiful deep, dark patina finish. The bottom of the figurine is hollow from the traditional casting process.
