1954 US Time Timex manual wind men’s wrist watch. The watch winds good and is currently running. It has a shorter wind span meaning when it’s fully stopped it may take about 13-15 winds and it’s fully wound a running.
Please keep in mind the watch probably needs a good professional servicing to be really accurate and prevent any potential stop/starting from old lubricant, but from what I’ve observed it seems to be fairly decent in time keeping but does run about 5-10 minutes fast throughout a day currently.
(NOTE- There is an adjustment mechanism inside for +\\- for those who know how to use it).
The band is a newer military strap type, this is a super fun watch to wear and has that great naturally worn look.
COSMETIC CONDITION- There is natural ware throughout and some Knicks/scratches throughout as well, the watch has seen a lot of ware time over the decades but overall the chrome is still very nice and intact, the lens was replaced as the old lens was very scratched and cloudy, the new one looks great! The chrome on the back has worn to the brass in areas (most pronounced on the back side screw ring). The dial face itself has some marks and aging but has a wonderful naturally aged vibe that flows perfect with this watch.
