DESCRIPTION:
A truly spectacular Tolkien display—and something you rarely see presented this way!
Offered here are THREE vintage Ballantine Books boxed sets of J.R.R. Tolkien’s legendary Lord of the Rings trilogy—nine paperback books and three original illustrated slipcases altogether.
What makes this collection particularly impressive is its display potential. Barbara Remington’s wonderfully strange and iconic Middle-earth artwork continues around the exterior of each box. By turning the three boxes to expose a different panel on each, they can be arranged side by side to reveal the complete sweeping panorama at once—an unforgettable shelf display and a genuine conversation piece for any Tolkien library.

• Three copies of The Fellowship of the Ring
• Three copies of The Two Towers
• Three copies of The Return of the King
