This coastal seascape features rolling turquoise and deep blue breaking waves crashing onto a sandy shore, backed by craggy coastal headlands and leaning tropical palm trees under a radiant sunlit sky with soaring seagulls. Rich impasto texture and dynamic brushwork throughout the surf.
Housed in a solid wooden frame with molded decorative trim, finished in deep slate-blue and pewter-gray tones, complemented by a textured fabric linen mat and inner fillet. Frame is stamped "Hecho en Mexico" on the reverse with a sawtooth hanger installed and ready to display.
Condition:
In excellent vintage condition. Artwork surface is clean with vibrant pigments. Frame and linen matting are structurally solid, clean, and show only minimal vintage handling consistent with age.
