Well, here we have something pretty special - if you ever worked in wildland fire in the late 80s and early 90s when the USFS switched from “slack” style pants to “jean” style, you were forever trying to find and hold onto the classic slash pocket, straight legged, slacks from the 70s and early 80s (the “jean” style rubbed the hair off your thighs!) Seriously. People hoarded these pants and even kept them after they retired. Most have been used and abused - burned here and there on fires, used to paint the shed on weekends, get some firewood in the fall - and very few are still around. They were hard to find 35 years ago! This pair is near perfect. Not sure how they’ve made it 47 years in this condition. Museum quality? Maybe. Beautiful condition with no flaws or blemishes. If you know, you know!
