Description:Up for sale is a rare vintage Soviet wrist compass, model KN-1 (КН-1), produced by the legendary Chistopol Watch Factory (ChChZ, later known as Vostok), USSR.
This unique navigation tool is built directly into a vintage wristwatch-style metal case featuring standard strap lugs. It utilizes actual watch-making components from the Soviet era. The dial features Cyrillic markings for cardinal directions (С [North], Ю [South], В [East], З [West], etc.). It is also equipped with a functional side crown/button mechanism designed to act as a needle stopper (brake) to protect the pivot when not in use.

Cosmetic condition: Good vintage condition.
Working condition: The magnetic needle moves freely and points to North. The side stopper mechanism functions as intended.
