Up for sale is a fantastic pair of vintage Union Leader Smoking Tobacco vertical pocket tins. These two tins show a great evolution of the brand\'s packaging, featuring two different eras:Tin 1 (Older 1910s-1920s Variant): Features a built-in metal match striker grid on the bottom and a stamped flush metal lid.Tin 2 (Later 1930s-1940s Variant): Features the \"To Open Push Up\" lid mechanism and retains a partial original blue IRS paper tax stamp on top.Both tins are empty and in fair to good vintage condition with red lithographed paint. They show an authentic rustic patina, including typical edge wear, minor scratches, and light oxidation/rust spots as pictured. Lids open and slide as intended.
