For your consideration, we are offering a beautiful vintage Wax doll by world renowned NIADA artist, Lewis Sorensen. This amazing doll has a molded and painted head and body. Her elaborate Victorian style costume is completely had made by Mr. Sorensen with great attention to detail and of the finest materials. She measures approximately 16\" tall and is in fantastic condition. Please see the photos that show in detail her hat adorned with silk flowers, light blue velvet, feathers, and a yellow bird. She has her original paper label attached to her bloomers. NO crazing, chips, dings, or dents to her wax face or body. No holes, rips, or tears to her gown. She has a blue glass beaded purse, and a small pinksatchel on her left arm. Her finely painted face and auburn mohair are simply perfect. Likely made iin the 1940s but, exact date unknown. Designed, dressed & made by Lewis Sorensenwho was a World Renowned Master of Wax Dolls (NAIDA). Sorensen was a costume designer and sculptor who made wax dolls as well as life sized wax sculptures for many museums, prominent people, as well as Madame Trousseau. If you have been to a wax museum, you have seen his life-size wax sculptures of famous people.No odors or damage. Gown has light dusty discolorations due to age however, she is display ready and museum quality.She will be packaged with care for safe delivery and shipped promptly.
