Exquisite mid-century German porcelain in the Dresden tradition. This footed covered dish/bonbonniere features the sought-after Von Schierholz maker's mark with crown/shield, "Handmalerei" and "Made in Germany" stamps.

• Marks: Green printed crown/shield "von SCHIERHOLZ Handmalerei" + "Made in Germany" ink stamp
• Style: Rococo Revival with applied "encrusted" flowers and 22k gold gilt
• Size: 7" diameter x 5" H to finial
• Features: Scalloped rim, scrolled finial, cabriole legs, hand-painted floral sprays, applied 3D porcelain flowers in blue, pink, yellow, purple with green leaves. Gold scrollwork on lid and base. Base has hand-painted orange antique condition. No chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs found. Applied flowers are all intact. Gold gilt is bright with only minor rubs consistent with age.
