Fantastic mid-century vintage hand-carved wooden articulated cobra snake. This piece features a classic "wiggle" design with tongue-and-groove segmented joints secured by vertical metal eyelet rivets, allowing the snake to flex and slither with fluid, realistic movement. Design: Features a strikingly carved, raised cobra hood posture. The throat is beautifully detailed with chiseled ridges mimicking underbelly scales. Accents: Finished with distinct red pin-head bead eyes and an inset tongue at the mouth. Material & Finish: Made from solid wood with a warm, natural honey-toned patina that highlights the organic wood grain. Era: Circa 1950s–1970s Mid-Century Folk Art / Souvenir Export.
