A rare vintage Zeiss Winkel binocular metallurgical microscope stand (Serial #298273). Designed for reflected-light/episcopic microscopy to examine opaque materials such as metals, alloys, minerals, and circuit boards.

Incident-Light Setup: Features a dedicated side illuminator port above the revolving turret for vertical incident light (requires external Zeiss illuminator assembly).
Mechanical Status: Coarse/fine focus knobs, nosepiece indexing, binocular head, and sub-stage condenser mount all move smoothly and as intended.
Optics Included: Binocular eyepiece tubes with adjustable interpupillary distance and a Zeiss Winkel 100x Oil objective.
Condition & Missing Parts: Missing the vertical illuminator lamp housing attachment, sub-stage mirror/light, and mechanical stage clips. Main body shows light paint wear consistent with age (see photos).
