RARE! VINTAGE! ORIGINAL BIX AND PAPERWORK! This specific size features a 2.5-inch stainless steel blade paired with a 3.5-inch stainless steel frame. The diagonal stripes are highly characteristic of master knifemaker Seizo Imai’s custom factory designs out of Seki City, Japan. Instead of standard rectangular slices, the pieces of iridescent abalone shell were precision-cut at a sharp angle to fit into the matching milled channels on the steel handle.
