Up for sale is an incredibly rare, authentic, Holy Grail piece of skateboarding history: a true 1980s original Powell Peralta Tony Hawk “Iron Cross”/“Chicken Skull” T-shirt from 1983. This is not a modern re-issue or a 90s reprint. This is a first generation 1983 original released right around the time Tony Hawk turned pro and joined the legendary Bones Brigade at the age of 14.

Stitching: Authentic single-stitch construction on sleeve and bottom hems. NO SIDE SEAMS
Color: slightly faded classic skate blue. The actual color of the tee is accurately represented in the photos with the brighter blue tone. The less saturated faded blue does not accurately depict the actual color of the tee shirt and is due to the light conditions and my camera.
Condition: This shirt features an amazing natural vintage fade, and a perfectly broken-in look that collectors highly desire. It shows authentic skate-wear, including a small hole along the left shoulder, some fraying at the neck and sleeve edges, at least one small pinhole on the front, and one or two slightly bigger tiny holes. There is a very small dark spot on the front of the shirt which I have photographed, but it is hard to find with the naked eye, and is hard to find in the photo as well, but look for it in the 13th photo. I have endeavored to show all the defects I can see, but it is a well-worn 43 year old tee with expected wear. A good friend knew Tony when he first started out, and has had this shirt since then.
