Vtg Arabia Finland GREEN THISTLE Bowl x2 Flat Rim Soup Cereal Dessert Bowls 6½\" For Sale

Today I am offering this fabulous vintage pair of Arabia Finland Green Thistle cereal or soup bowls.

Originally designed by legendary ceramicist Olga Osol, this iconic mid-century modern pattern features a central hand-painted green botanical thistle motif accented by delicate green scroll borders and clean bands along the rim.

These pieces date back to the production era spanning from 1955 to 1970.

This is a great set of 2 flat rimmed, tapered bowls.

They each measure approximately 1¼\" high, and 6½\" across the top opening, including the flange rim.

They are in excellent vintage pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.

The undersides are very clean with no shelf wear.

One bowl features the full pattern designation hallmark hand-stamped with the decorator\'s initials \"I.V.\", while the second bowl carries the standard internal factory production code \"5\" from the same batch.

I have included a screenshot from Replacements-dot-com showing that they don\'t have any of these in stock.
