Vintage American Character Tiny Tears doll from about 1955–1957. The mix of a hard plastic head, caracul wig and vinyl body dates her to the mid-1950sShe is the collectible 15\" size, with a hard plastic head and her original caracul (real lamb\'s wool) wig. She has a soft vinyl body. The back of her head is marked **\"American Character Doll PAT. No. 2,675,644\"**, the patent for Tiny Tears\' tear ducts.
**Features**- Blue sleep Rock a Bye eyes with lashes. The eyes open and close- Open \"drink and wet\" nurser mouth and tear-duct holes by the eyes- Fully jointed at the neck, arms and legs, with detailed fingers, toes and dimpled knees- Original white cotton romper with pink trim and \"Tiny Tears\" embroidered in red script. **Condition**She\'s in very nice vintage condition. Her face color is good, her lips are bright and her eyes are clear. The caracul wig is full, with the natural fuzziness these wigs get with age. The vinyl body is soft and clean, with [a small dark mark on the upper arm and light marks on the hip or thigh].
