$24.00
Vintage Fenton Blue Opalescent Hobnail Ruffled Candy Dish & Mini Cream & Sugar SetThe set is small in size, making it perfect for serving candies or creams at a party. It is recommended to hand wash only to ensure its longevity. The set is original and authentic, with handles and a round shape. It is a great representation of mid-century modern style and American theme. Each piece displays a translucent light blue color with milky-white opalescent rims and raised nodule \"hobnail\" texturesFenton Art Glass did not begin molding an oval logo directly into their glassware until 1970. Prior to that, pieces only carried paper labels that easily washed away or peeled off over decades of use.Because the \"Blue Opalescent Hobnail\" pattern (#3900 line) was originally introduced in the late 1930s to 1940s, an unmarked set like yours confirms it is an authentic, highly collectible early vintage production (likely from the 1940s to 1960s).
