This is an original hand-signed etching by listed German artist Hans Luthmann (1888–1945). The work is pencil signed \"H. Luthmann\" in the lower right, titled \"Eingeschneit\" (\"Snowed In\") in the lower left, and inscribed \"Orig. Radg.\" (Original Radierung), indicating an original etching not a later production.
The composition beautifully captures a quiet winter landscape with a snow-covered cottage, stone retaining wall, stairway, and a dramatic gnarled tree extending across the scene. The rich tonal contrasts and delicate etched linework are characteristic of Luthmann\'s accomplished printmaking.

- Small stain visible near the lower right portion of the image
- No restoration has been attempted
The image itself remains attractive and displays well. Most of the condition issues are confined to the margins and would be less noticeable once professionally matted and framed.
