This striking lamp features a tall fluted crystal column mounted on a substantial polished white marble base with natural gray veining. The stone exhibits translucency when backlit, a characteristic commonly found in calcite-rich marble. This translucency is shown in a photo. The lamp is topped with an intricately cut crystal shade decorated in floral and fan motifs. When illuminated, the deeply cut crystal shade and column reflect light beautifully as it shines through them, as demonstrated in photos.
The lamp retains its original Hungarian crystal label on the column, supporting its European origin. Next to the \"Made in Hungary\" sticker is the remnant of another sticker that most likely was once the sticker for the Brand. Therefore, because this sticker is missing, the maker/brand cannot be confirmed. Brass-tone fittings complement the clear crystal and marble construction, giving the piece a sophisticated Hollywood Regency and traditional luxury appearance. This lamp is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks in the crystal shade or the crystal column. The white marble base is clean and free of any damage. The white cord is clean and in like-new condition. There are no issues with the in-line switch, and it works as it should. Please review all photos, as they are integral to the description.
