This is a beautiful vintage (19300s-1940's) purse perfume bottle from Mary Dunhill's Scentinel line. It includes the original flannel type fabric open top pouch, the outer 2-piece gold-tone metal holder. A lovely glass bottle with a removable glass dauber. The bottle is EMPTY. There is no perfume inside just a lingering fragrance. One of the gold-toned metal halves of the protective case is marked with Mary Dunhill and the other half is marked with the US patent #.
This piece is in very good vintage condition with visible age-related wear, discoloration, small surface scratches and finish loss. The molded glass is in perfect condition. You can see and feel the molding "seam" but there ae no chips or cracks that I can find on the bottle or the glass dauber. There appears to be some dark remnants of long-ago evaporated perfume.
This is a beautiful collectible piece of Mary Dunhill design. PLEASE check the pictures to view the full condition. I describe the items I'm selling as fully as I can, but PLEASE ask any questions you have. Everything I list comes from a non-smoking home. As always THANK you so much for taking your time to shop with me, and please take a minute to check out my other items. You never know what you might find.
