This vintage Middle Eastern/Persian‑style decorative wall platter tray measures 15 inches in diameter and weighs a solid 2 pounds. It carries a Qalamzani‑inspired aesthetic with a central figurative scene and ornate floral borders, but the production method is cast rather than hand‑chiseled. The background has a raised, positive‑relief texture, and the smooth borders show concentric machining marks from factory lathe finishing.
Made from solid copper with a traditional silvery‑grey tinned coating, the tray shows warm copper tones along the scalloped outer edge and naturally worn areas. The surface has an unpolished vintage patina with expected tin wear, faint scuffs, and minor dark spots/pitting typical of older decorative metalwork.
