Vtg Norcrest Fine China Tea Coffee Set TA-52 Green Pink Cabbage Rose Gold 12pc For Sale

Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible mid-century Norcrest Fine China coffee and tea service set in the scarce TA-52 pattern. Manufactured in Japan during the 1950s/1960s, this set features a stunning Victorian-style aesthetic with a soft mint-green airbrushed background gradient, vivid hand-painted pink and maroon cabbage roses, and elegant heavy gold-gilt trim accents. This is a remarkably well-preserved partial set that includes both the taller beverage pitcher (frequently used for coffee or hot chocolate) and the standard teapot, making it a very versatile display layout. What’s Included & Dimensions:

• 1 Tall Beverage Pitcher / Coffee Pot: Stands approx. 6.6 inches tall (without lid). Features a scalloped rim, flared spout, and an ornate gold-gilt thumb-rest handle.
• 1 Teapot with Lid: Stands approx. 6.5 inches tall to the top of the sculpted rosebud lid finial.
• 1 Covered Sugar Bowl: Dual gold-handled design with matching lid.
• 1 Creamer Jug: Miniature pouring pitcher echoing the main set contours.
• 4 Demitasse / Espresso Cups: Footed cups with ornate gold-gilt handles.
• 4 Demitasse Saucers: Measure approx. 4.75 inches in diameter with a scalloped edge and central rose graphics.

Condition Report:

• Porcelain Structure: Exceptional vintage display condition. There are NO cracks, structural chips, or major hairline fractures on any of the vessels, cups, or saucers.
• Gold Gilt & Paint: The hand-painted cabbage roses remain incredibly vibrant. The heavy gold-gilt trim shows minimal to no shelf-wear, retaining its high-polished, reflective luster.
• Underside Markings: The bases are crisp and cleanly stamped with the official black ink alphanumeric design run marker "TA-52". The amber residue visible on the pitcher base is simply leftover adhesive from the original blue foil "Norcrest Japan" paper sticker that safely wore away over the decades.
