A wonderful vintage Planters Mr. Peanut walking wind-up advertising toy, paired with a vintage Players Roasted Peanuts baseball game advertisement burlap bag for a fantastic display!
Mr. Peanut stands approximately 8.5\" tall and is marked MADE IN U.S.A. on his iconic top hat. He is complete with monocle, cane, top hat and original wind-up key.
Mr. Peanut is in very nice vintage condition with expected age-related surface wear, small marks and slight paint wear. The metal winding key shows oxidation/patina. His cane does have a curve to it. His face paint is quite handsome! Please look at photos.
And yes — he works! Wind him up and Mr. Peanut takes his classic mechanical walk. He doesn\'t fully unwind on his feet. Please see the included video.
Also included is the vintage Players Roasted Peanuts burlap bag shown in the photos. The graphics feature a game clad peanut character and reads \"Roasted Peanuts\" and \"Net Wt. 1 Lb. 8 Oz. (680g).\" The bag makes a terrific period-style companion display with Mr. Peanut.
