Vtg U.S. Zone German Bavarian Wirsberger Mini Doll Box House In Original Box from the 40s
This is a darling miniature German roombox in its original box guessing from the 40s. The roombox was made by "Wirsberger Werkstatten" and the box says, "Souvenir of Bavaria" and is marked, "U.S. ZONE" on the bottom of the house. The roombox is very similar to the Dora Kuhn furniture and dollhouses of the 50s-70s, although this Wirsberger set is earlier. It is so cute with a blue kitchen on one side and an orange bedroom with baby cradle in the other room. The roombox measures approximately 11 inches wide, 5 inches deep and 4 inches tall. The furniture is all glued into the set, as it was originally intended from the factory. The furniture is painted with lots of decorations and there are 4 loose pillows that I am not sure where they were to be placed. There is even a little blue cuckoo clock on the wall in one room! It comes in its original box! On the bottom it says “Made in U.S.Zone Germany” . A darling little roombox, so fun to display! A rare find.
