Vtg WWII Bakelite Red Plastic V For Victory Morse Code Sweetheart Brooch For Sale

This is an incredibly rare, historically significant World War II "V for Victory" sweetheart brooch, preserved beautifully from this estate collection. Measuring 1.5 inches across and weighing a mere 3 g, this iconic homefront piece is crafted from a vibrant red vintage plastic resin base. The front crossbar features the famous Allied Morse Code signal for "V" (dot-dot-dot-dash), represented by three cream-colored circular dots and a contrasting dark blue rectangular dash—a rhythmic motif popularized alongside the opening notes of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony to boost morale during wartime. The reverse side holds its original, securely anchored metal bar pin assembly showing authentic age-appropriate oxidation that proves its vintage origins. Unlike mass-produced postwar fashion jewelry, authentic 1940s homefront patriotic collectibles are highly sought after by militaria historians and vintage plastic collectors alike, making this pristine piece an outstanding, investment-grade addition to any historic collection.
