The booklet details recommended detergents, safety testing standards, and historical information from Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Limited (Barlaston,Stoke-on-Trent). Finding these pieces with the original ephemera is quite uncommon! The elegant, softly square box features a smooth matte yellow stoneware body. It is decorated with intricate, raised white bas-relief appliqués depicting a delicate Prunus (Cherry/Plum Blossom) branch across the lid and accenting corners. A subtle, alternating geometric white leaf border traces the outer rim. The Primrose Yellow Collection is one of the most limited and prized color productions, making it an excellent addition for serious Jasperware collectors or a beautiful accent piece for grandmillennial, cottage, or English country vanity decor.
