Several are marked “Restricted” and include U.S. Government Printing Office printings.

- Contents: Features identification charts and sighting guides for Japanese warships, Allied aircraft, U.S., British, and French vessels, merchant ships, submarines, and landing craft.
- Classification: Many items in these collections were marked as “Restricted” and printed by the U.S. Government Printing Office for official military use.
- Training Purpose: Personnel used multi-view silhouettes, photographs, and the WEFT system (Wings, Engine, Fuselage, Tail) to quickly identify friend or foe under combat conditions.
