Since 1893, both Victorinox and Wenger, have supplied the Swiss Army, with their Swiss Army Knives. In 2005, Victorinox bought out Wenger, and then discontinued the Wenger brand of Swiss Army Knives, in 2013. The Wenger factory, in Delemont, Switzerland still produces some of their Swiss Army knives, but they are called Victorinox Delemont, with the Victorinox shield. So now, one will not find the Wenger cross on the front scale...but will find the Victorinox shield. So far, the only SAKs that were Wenger Evolution knives....are now called, Victorinox Delemont.
