U.S. Army officer uniform set featuring a WWII service coat with an interior label marked David E Morrow and dated December 16, 1942. This five-piece set includes the jacket, olive drab wool shirt, khaki tie, trousers, and officer visor cap with eagle insignia shown together in the photograph. The jacket features a classic four-pocket design, officer cuff braid, silver first lieutenant bars, U.S. and crossed-rifle collar insignia, green leadership loops, a 2nd Infantry Division Indianhead shoulder patch, a Combat Infantryman Badge, a blue framed unit citation ribbon, and three service ribbons. The named and dated jacket is the centerpiece of an attractive U.S. Army uniform display.
The garments show visible wear and creasing. Other visible details include wear along the shoulder patch border, differing finish wear on the collar insignia, fine cracking in the blue finish of the Combat Infantryman Badge, and scuffing along the cap visor edge. The attached insignia and ribbons are included exactly as pictured. Please review the detailed photographs for the condition and appearance of each piece.
