Offered for sale is a vintage Wade & Butcher straight razor featuring the distinctive Genuine Bow design and a broad 6/8-class blade.
The blade retains its original Wade & Butcher markings and has been professionally honed and stropped by Sharper Edge Honing.
This is an attractive vintage Sheffield razor with considerable character, a distinctive bow-shaped tang cutout, and a traditional square-point blade.

BLADE CONDITION
The blade has been carefully cleaned, polished, honed, and stropped.
The original Wade & Butcher blade etching remains visible, including the Genuine Bow Razor identification.
The distinctive bow-shaped cutout in the tang is intact.
The blade retains a substantial amount of its original width and has a clean, continuous cutting edge.
As expected with a vintage razor, the blade has some remaining surface scratches, discoloration, light pitting, and signs of previous use.

SCALE CONDITION — PLEASE READ
The razor has black vintage scales with brass pins.
There are visible cracks in the scales near the rear pin, along with additional age-related wear.
The cracks are shown in the photographs and have not been concealed.
The razor is being sold with these existing scales and imperfections. Buyers should examine the photographs carefully and understand that the scales may eventually require repair or replacement.

This razor has been individually honed and stropped by Sharper Edge Honing to produce a refined, shave-ready cutting edge.
It is ready for shaving upon arrival.
Regular leather stropping is recommended to maintain the edge between shaves.
