You will receive 20 fresh White Butterfly Pea (Clitoria ternatea) seeds harvested from healthy plants grown in my own Houston, Texas garden.
My plants are home grown without pesticides or herbicides, and the seeds are hand harvested from the current growing season to provide fresh, viable seed ready for planting.
White Butterfly Pea is a fast-growing tropical vine that quickly covers trellises, fences, arbors, and mailboxes with beautiful pure white blooms. In warm climates, flowering can begin just a few weeks after planting.
The elegant white flowers are edible and are often used fresh as a garnish, in salads, or dried for herbal tea. They also attract butterflies and other beneficial pollinators, making them a wonderful addition to any garden.
Planting Tips
• Scarify (nick) the seed coat and soak seeds in warm water for 12-24 hours before planting for faster germination.
• Plant ¼ inch deep in moist potting mix.
• Keep warm and evenly moist until germination.
• Grow in full sun to partial shade.
• Provide a trellis or other support for climbing.
