Wiha 7-Piece SAE 3/8" Drive Insulated Hex Socket Set (31890) is a professional-grade insulated socket set engineered for electrical technicians and industrial professionals working in energized environments where safety and precision are critical. Designed with a 3/8" drive and SAE hex socket sizes, this 7-piece set provides a reliable barrier between the user and live electrical current while maintaining the strength required for demanding fastening work. Each socket is individually tested to 10,000V AC and rated for 1,000V AC or 1,500V DC, making it suitable for regulated electrical and utility applications. Manufactured in Germany from through-hardened tool steel, the set is built for long-term durability, exact fastener fit, and dependable performance in live-line maintenance and installation work.

Certified insulated protection: Each socket is individually tested to 10,000V AC and rated for 1,000V AC or 1,500V DC for energized applications.
ASTM and CSA compliance: Meets ASTM F1505 specifications and CSA testing benchmarks for insulated hand tools.
Precision-machined hex tips: Exact-fit design helps improve fastener contact and reduce slipping or stripping.
Through-hardened steel construction: Sockets are built for high mechanical strength and resistance to deformation under torque.
Permanently bonded insulation: Molded-on insulation creates a secure, seamless layer that will not slide or detach during use.
German-made quality: Manufactured in Germany for reliable dimensional accuracy and consistent professional performance.
Versatile SAE coverage: Includes seven commonly used inch sizes for a wide range of electrical and industrial tasks.

About Us
About UsJB Tools was founded in 2009, and has since become a leading online tool retailer. Although we have experienced much growth since opening our doors, we pride ourselves in being an American "small business" in every sense of the term. We offer thousands of automotive, industrial, and home & garden products at extremely-affordable prices (often the lowest price online). Our distribution center is located in Livonia, Michigan, and we offer products to both businesses and individual consumers. We do not have a physical retail location, and instead, ship products to the doorsteps of customers all around the world. Domestic orders over $99 ship free, and thousands of individual products under $99 that ship free. Our company's owners, Jason and Bob, studied at the same high school while working at a local tool warehouse after school. From there, they split their time between college in Michigan, and working in the purchasing department at the tool warehouse. During the Great recession of 2009, Jason and Bob were tasked with listing products on the Internet to help move inventory. At that point, JB Tools became a reality! Jason and Bob, close, lifelong friends, work alongside friends, family, and a tremendously-valued team of employees that spans across the globe. While many of our competitors are owned and operated by larger tool distributors and equity groups, we are proud to offer great prices, excellent service, and compete with them as a small owner operated business.
