Very nice daguerreotype of a young lady in a sitting pose. I bought this a couple years ago and it was already resealed before me. No bad wipes or scratch marks except some where the mat and image areas meet, see pics. Housed in a full union case by Critchlow. Listed in Berg as 3-195 The brass hinges are tight with no play. All 8 corners look good- chip free. This is a very nice one-of-a-kind collectible.
