Antique early 19thc hand made hooked cat and dog rug
1.good condition, not perfect
2. antique not reproduction
3. wool no blends
4. I believe this is an original design
5. overall light fading on the front, see photos, back and front
6. black cotton braid binding on one side only, not sure why only bound on side
7. sides without binding are turned under and hooked through
8. no holes, not torn,
9. light small spots, front upper left in photo
10. fabric is strong no rot
11. wool strips are cut by hand, some irregularity inwidth
12. doesn\'t look like this was every walked on
