signed MODERN TAPIO WIRKKALA 3504 FINLAND FROSTED ART GLASS VASE 9 3/8\" IITTALA For Sale

Fine vintage art glass vase by Tapio Wirkkala.This masterpiece of Scandinavian art glass measures 9 3/8\" high by 4\" wide and features a modernist asymmetrical geometric thick walled clear vase with deep lines traveling top to bottom and in a satin finish.It is ground and polished top and bottom and is signed to base: TAPIO WIRKKALA 3504.This art glass vase has been well cared for and is in very good vintage condition.No chips, no cracks or signs of abuse and no repair.In feeling the sides of this vase for damage, I noted a couple edges over a couple inches felt a bit rough, like small chips, but in looking closely that slightly rough edge was not damage. Would classify as a very small manufacture flaw and are very difficult to see without magnification. Definitely not damage.A superb and tall version by the Finnish glass master, Tapio Wirkkala.And.....it makes us feel good to buy something of beauty and value.
