A seriously beautiful USA-made Carvin California Double-Cut, loaded with premium appointments and finished in a rich transparent burst that really brings out the figuring in the carved maple top.
The California Double-Cut was Carvin’s take on a high-end, set-neck carved-top guitar, combining a premium mahogany body and set mahogany neck with a substantial figured maple top. Carvin’s deep-set neck construction and sculpted heel provide excellent sustain along with easy access to all 22 frets.
This example is particularly striking with its abalone block fingerboard inlays, gold hardware, matching figured headstock, ebony fingerboard and Sperzel locking tuners.

There are some cosmetic marks from normal use, most notably the small finish chip/ding shown clearly in the close-up photographs. I’ve photographed it specifically so there are no surprises.
