✅ Condition — excellent-
📜 A bit of historyIn 1928, Franke & Heidecke of Braunschweig, Germany, introduced the Rolleiflex and changed photography forever. In 1933, they launched the Rolleicord as its more affordable sibling. It had the same twin-lens design and top-quality leaf shutters, with simpler knob advance and Triotar or Xenar lenses instead of the Rolleiflex\'s Tessar or Planar.
The line evolved for over four decades. The III (1950) brought the Xenar f/3.5 and X-sync. The V (1954) added a self-timer. The Va (1957) moved the focus knob to the left side. The Vb (1962), the final Rolleicord, added a removable hood for cleaning the focusing screen. Production ended in the 1970s.
Today the Rolleicord is one of the best values in classic medium format: true Rollei build quality, a superb Xenar lens, and images that hold their own against cameras costing twice as much.
