9002 Series Hydraulic AdapterMale JIC 37° x Male BSPP Straight Adapter
These 9002 Series hydraulic adapters connect a Male JIC 37° flare connection to a Male BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) connection in a straight configuration.
They are commonly used when adapting American JIC hydraulic hose ends or fittings to BSPP ports found on imported equipment, hydraulic control valves, pumps, cylinders, and industrial hydraulic systems.
The BSPP side uses a parallel thread and includes a 90 durometer O-ring and retaining ring for sealing where applicable. BSPP is not tapered pipe thread like NPT, so correct port style and sealing method matter.

The first dash size is the Male JIC side.
The second dash size is the Male BSPP side.

- Male JIC 37° flare on one side
- Male BSPP parallel thread on the other side
BSPP and NPT can look similar, but they are not the same.
- BSPP uses straight/parallel threads
- NPT uses tapered pipe threads
- BSPP connections often seal with an O-ring, bonded seal, washer, cone, or port face rather than the threads themselves
