Here at Darling Farm we have a beautiful Silver Appleyard duck breeding flock.
These ducks are a large great duel-purpose breed. The hens will start laying at around 5 months of age and will produce around 200 to 270 extra large white eggs their first year. They are calm birds and make great mothers. They are known for brooding and hatching out their eggs and doing a wonderful job raising their ducklings. These birds are also great for the table with drakes weighing 9-10 pounds and hens being closer to 8-9 pounds.
This unit of 10+2 : is for purchasing 10 Silver Appleyard Duck hatching eggs with 2 extra egg in each unit purchased. The more units purchased the better the pricing we are able to offer per unit.
