When buying stainless flatware, you will often see the terms 18/10 stainless. 18/10 Refers to the Percentages of chromium and nickel in the stainless steel alloy in flatware. The 18 refers to the chromium content. The 8 or 10 refers to the nickel content. Chromium content gives flatware its strength and the nickel gives flatware shine and rust resistance. Good premium flatware brands, like these, won\'t bend when you use them as intended.
Other places are selling these pieces for $16.00 to $30.00 PER PIECE!! (USED)
WHAT DO YOU NEED IN THIS PATTERN??I have a limited number of these pieces available that I will beoffering on a \"FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE\" basis. So, act fast, before I run out! COMPLETE SET OF TWELVE 7 3/4\" DINNER FORKSCondition: These were store display pieces or returns, slight wear.”NOTICE: Wallace Silver has, from time to time, made subtle changes to the American Tradition pattern from its inception. The changes include minor size, shape and weight of each piece. As such, I cannot guarantee that the Wallace American Tradition pieces you purchase from me will match \"exactly\" your set. What I do guarantee is that what you buy is genuine Wallace, American Tradition pattern, 18/10 Stainless, in NEW to \"NEAR NEW\" condition.
I have just recently learned that Wallace made four different sizes of dinner forks. Determined by the size set, Basic, Good, Better or Deluxe, Wallace would have placed 7 3/8\", 7 1/2\", 7 3/4\" or 8\" forks, in that order, in the sets. The 1/4\" difference would be hardly noticeable when viewed as a place setting.
