Condition & PhotosThe listing photos include the title page (if present) showing printer and year, all sides of the book, representative page samples from beginning to end, family history pages (when present), and any major flaws I notice. limits listings to 24 photos, so I include as much detail as reasonable within those limits.
For Bibles containing the Apocrypha, I include a photo of the Apocrypha title page or first page.
Family history sections vary in length; I may not be able to photograph every page.
Because most of the books I sell are 150+ years old, signs of age, handling, and historical wear are generally expected. I describe major imperfections in the item description, but the photos are the primary description of condition. Please review them carefully, as they show the most accurate representation of the item.Antiquarian Book Disclaimer
Antiquarian books are handmade, hand-sewn, and often contain natural irregularities, age-related toning, foxing, small tears, edge wear, and other characteristics typical of books of this period. Flaws, age-related wear, or small defects not specifically mentioned should be considered normal for books of this age.
Due to time constraints, it\'s not possible to collate each book. If I notice any missing pages they will be listed in the description. But it\'s not possible to catch every instance of pages missing and such. If the text block is tight and complete, it\'s generally a good indication that the book is intact, though I cannot guarantee absolute completeness.
If you are looking for a flawless or modern-condition book, these historical volumes may not meet that expectation.Shipping & Packaging
All books are packaged securely to protect them during transit. I have shipped a significant number of antiquarian books over the years and have never had a damage complaint.Communication & Pricing
Due to high message volume, I\'m unable to negotiate prices or respond to discount requests through messages.
