This handsome eighteenth-century volume remains in its original contemporary full calf leather binding with raised bands, original spine label, decorative gilt compartments, marbled endpapers, and beautifully preserved red-stained page edges.
Volume VI contains several of Molière’s most celebrated comédie-ballets, including:
• Monsieur de Pourceaugnac
• Les Amants Magnifiques
• Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme
The volume retains its original engraved illustrations, all of which are present, along with the decorative headpieces and typographic ornaments typical of fine eighteenth-century French printing.
