1830 Utagawa Kuniyoshi Japanese Woodblock Print Samurai Suikoden with Provenance For Sale

For consideration is an original circa 1830 Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1797-1861) Japanese woodblock print of warrior Odai Matarokuro from the series Eight Hundred Heroes of the Japanese Suikoden One by One. It measures approx 10” x 14”. The print is in good "antique" condition. It shows typical signs of aging, handling, and wear. The paper has naturally toned over time. The print appears to have been trimmed along the outer margins at some point in its history. There are noticeable signs of aging, including minor creasing, surface dirt, and a light staining across the print. There is some thinning. There is some edgewear/chipping. The print comes with provenance which was taped to the back of its frame. I cannot guarantee that it is 100% accurate. A frame is not included. It would make a nice addition to a collection.
