The coin retains strong AU-level design detail. Liberty’s portrait, cap, hair, drapery, date and stars remain sharply defined. The reverse displays excellent remaining detail throughout the eagle, shield, feathers, arrows, olive branch and lettering.
The surfaces are bright and exhibit numerous fine hairlines and scratches consistent with a past cleaning. Some darker toning remains around portions of the rims and devices. Because of the surface condition, this coin is being offered as an uncertified AU Details—Cleaned.
