Good condition for an 1841 volume. Rebound in solid plain black hardcover with clean white endpapers. Text block is complete and tight — no loose pages. Title page features original red and black letterpress printing — crisp and clear. Pages show age-appropriate toning throughout. Some foxing/spotting on rear endpapers. No dust jacket (pre-DJ era). Inscription on verso of title page: \"Albert Charles / Boston, Mass. / July 26, 1912\".
